The Sales Manager shall be responsible for business development and ongoing customer support activities developing and maintaining contact with DPS’ key customers in the UK, (primarily Aberdeen and London) and assigned overseas territories, both prior to and during contract execution. The role is likely to require extensive overseas travel.
Primary Duties
• Bring technically and commercially sound profitable contracts into DPS Bristol
• Travel in pursuit of key customers and opportunities to designated territories.
• Develop strategies for assigned territories, including appointment and management of local agents.
• Maintain contact with existing and prospective customers to promote DPS’ image, capabilities and projects, and obtain enquiries;
• Liaise with other DPS overseas offices and assist with their sales efforts when required.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals when required;
• Support various exhibitions where DPS has a presence;
• Co-ordinate with the Company’s sales team, overseas associate companies, partners, fabrication yards, and suppliers to ensure that the customer’s needs are met, and that the agreed sales strategy is being followed;
• Other project, sales and marketing related duties as required.
