Scope of Responsibilities

Piping design and layout including the following:

• 3D Piping & Equipment modelling using PDS/Microstation.
• Piping general arrangements.
• Isometrics.
• Piping MTOs.
• Piping support special details.
• Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD/Microstation.
• Information to other disciplines (platforms, nozzle orientation and special pipe supports).
• Checking isometrics against pipe spec and P&ID.
• As built data collection.
• Tie-in data collection.
• Occasional travel to attend site for manual isometrics of site run pipelines.
• Other duties as required.
Primary Duties

• Supervise and Check work produced by the Piping Design Engineers.
• Mentor and Advice on all piping issues

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering
• GCSE English and GCSE maths or equivalent
• AutoCAD City and Guilds
• Intergraph PDS Certificate

Experience & Competency

• Design office standards and procedures, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Working knowledge of CAD applications including:

• Intergraph PDS and or PDMS
• Microstation and or AutoCAD up to and including 2007
• Piping layout, Design
